A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Cork-based team, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of a major construction project.
This is a high-value commercial development in Cork involving complex structural works, external envelope elements, and full internal fit‑out through to handover.
You will play a key leadership role overseeing delivery on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across all phases of the build.
Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for project delivery from pre‑construction through to completion and handover
Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on a large-scale build
Manage programme, critical path activities, and progress reporting
Oversee health & safety compliance and site standards
Control budget, cost reporting, and commercial performance
Coordinate with client, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Drive quality assurance and ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor
Strong background delivering large commercial / residential / industrial projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage programme and costAbility to drive delivery in a fast‑paced site environment
