Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer (ACMV – Ducting Works) to oversee site execution of ducting installation works for a large-scale Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate ACMV ducting installation works on site
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements
Coordinate with main contractor, consultants, subcontractors and other M&E trades
Monitor site progress, manpower deployment and work schedules
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions and method statements
Assist in testing & commissioning of ACMV ducting systems
Resolve site technical issues and support project documentation and reporting
Job Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in ACMV ducting works
Experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects preferred
Strong knowledge of duct fabrication, installation standards and SMACNA/SS requirements
Familiar with HVAC systems, ventilation systems and site coordination processes
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to work at Tuas with transportation pick up at designated MRT station.
