Job Title: Production Operations Leader
This is a permanent night shift role working 23:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday – Thursday, and 21:00 pm - 4:00 am on Fridays. Our team operates from Dublin 15, Blanchardstown.

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our Manufacturing Manager in leading the manufacturing line. This is a leadership role requiring the ability to motivate a group of production operators to meet company goals in terms of quality, schedule, yield, and productivity according to procedure.
1. Manage production performance ensuring all site objectives are clearly understood and communicated to the team.
2. Participate in daily handover meetings to ensure detailed communication across shifts of production status and priorities, any ongoing issues, and potential requests for support.
3. Communicate with the team through shift briefs focusing on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and supporting kaizen blitz ideas for improvement.
4. Lead and motivate a team by utilising appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives, and defining responsibilities.
5. Organise production workflow and ensure employees understand their duties / tasks.
6. Highlight performance and training issues as necessary to maximise employee performance, while ensuring cross-training and flexibility of staff to support changes in production priorities.
7. Liaise with planning to execute plans, manage overtime to ensure agreed schedules can be executed in full.
8. Audit material kits, issue materials to the line, report scrap, and maintain clean and organised work areas.
9. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities, including the implementation of 5S standards.
10. Identify and develop potential operators in handling equipment effectively and motivate operators for increased throughput, quality, and efficiency.
11. Monitor production support systems and ensure consistent implementation in the production process.
12. Maintain accurate timekeeping and records for payroll purposes, managing absenteeism and attendance proactively.
13. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Computer literacy with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills.

* Proficiency in the English language and eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Ability to meet deadlines and a 'can-do' work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.

* Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working in a supervisory/managerial role.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams.
* Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in the English language and eligibility to work in Ireland.
