The Spa Therapist team operates under the guidance of the Head Therapist & Training Lead, delivering holistic, luxurious, and personalised experiences for every guest. The Head Therapist & Training Lead is responsible for leading the spa's treatment team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, transformative experiences for every guest at The Spa at The Hawthorn by Galway Bay. This dual role combines leadership, hands-on therapy excellence, and training responsibilities to maintain the highest standards of technical skill, guest care, and brand ethos.
The Head Therapist supports the Spa Management team in daily operations, team motivation, and professional development, ensuring the spa remains at the forefront of service excellence and industry's best practice.
Senior Spa Therapist
A highly experienced therapist who exemplifies excellence in technical ability, guest care, and professionalism. Senior Spa Therapists support the Head Therapist in maintaining standards, mentoring others, and ensuring operational flow during busy periods.
* Act as a role model and mentor for the spa team.
* Support training of new or junior team members in treatment delivery and guest service.
* Take ownership of VIP guests, special requests, or signature treatments.
* Lead by example in achieving retail and rebooking targets.
* Support Head Therapist in maintaining treatment standards and quality control.
* Contribute to advanced training initiatives and protocol development.
Spa Therapist
