A global medical device company are looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role is to deliver on instrumentation, centred around developing, building, and improving prototypes in a highly hands‑on, fast‑moving and dynamic troubleshooting environment, carrying out senior‑level electrical work, while working alongside senior electrical engineers and operating with general direction rather than detailed instruction.
Essential skills:
Hands on prototyping and troubleshooting
Experience of lab equipment and diagnostic tools
Senior electrical technician experience
Desirable skills:
Medical device or similar
Experience with Piezo electricity
The start date is ASAP. The initial contract is for 6 months, with multiple extension options. The role is based in Galway and will require 4-5 days onsite per week. The rate is €40-50 per hour, depending on experience. If you have any expenses, please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
