General Responsibilities
To be the face of Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel, welcoming, greeting and seating guests according to LQA standards
* To maximise reservations in the Rooftop by managing online booking system
* Manage the OpenTable app for the outlet, including taking wait lists, sitting guests, confirming bookings, boosting profiles and managing time lines.
* To be present on the floor interacting and assisting guests
* To communicate with F&B HODS and Shift Managers to ensure we are at full capacity to maximise revenue
* To conduct show arounds for potential clients wishing to book in our outlets
* To go the extra mile for guests to ensure they have an amazing F&B experience at the hotel
* To ensure menus are up to date and current online, on menu stands and in menu folders
* To train new team members on the floor and behind the bar
* To look after a section of the bar if need be, and to work on the Rooftop if necessary
* To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality delivered consistently to our guests.
* To deliver excellent care to our guests
* To have an understanding of the Hotels Vision & Mission statement as communicated to the team
* To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to.
* To report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate Departments.
* To ensure that the ambience in departments (lights, music and temperature) are controlled.
* To be vigilant throughout the Hotel to promote security
* To have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
* To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.
