This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join the Financial Planning and Pensions Team in Dublin. The primary responsibility is to provide effective financial planning administration directly to clients and assist Financial Planners and Investment Managers in delivering high-quality investment management services.
What will you do?
1. Understand the Irish pension and discretionary wealth management market.
2. Develop a broad understanding of core Pensions and Financial Planning solutions, expanding knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios.
3. Assist in producing financial plans and analytical information supporting the Financial Planning Team.
4. Support client interactions and develop awareness of client management and advice processes, including preparing client review and new client meeting packs.
5. Maintain detailed records of applications, update pensions reports, and manage the consolidation/retirement reports.
6. Establish and maintain professional relationships with team members, acting as a role model and supporting colleagues.
7. Follow company values and risk culture, encouraging these behaviors in others.
8. Promote collaboration, trust, and openness within the team and with clients.
9. Motivate and inspire team members to achieve business objectives, working with senior colleagues on priorities and business plans.
10. Keep technical knowledge current through CPD and stay informed about legislative changes.
11. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
12. Liaise with the Investment Manager Support team regarding new business onboarding.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
1. Proven experience in a technical role, ideally in Pensions/Retirement Planning, with client-facing responsibilities.
2. Attained QFA certification at minimum, with relevant modules completed to APA level.
3. Maintain CPD in accordance with professional body requirements.
4. Knowledge of the Irish pension and discretionary wealth management market.
