Our client, based in Bray, is seeking a Commissioning Engineer responsible for carrying out scheduled commissioning of electro-mechanical and embedded computer-based control systems. This role demands a strong technical and analytical mindset, with the ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service on site. Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned commissioning visits across sites in Ireland and occasionally the UK/Europe Perform site surveys and assist with resource forecasting for commissioning projects Install and complete final terminations of field devices Carry out Cause & Effect programming on PC-based control systems Accurately log and report all site activities using MS Office tools Manage on-site troubleshooting and problem-solving independently Requirements: Experience in site electrical commissioning (advantageous) Strong technical skills with an electrical/IT qualification (trade, diploma, or degree) Proficient with general computer use and Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel) Knowledge of BAS/BMS/Fire Alarm systems is a plus Excellent communication skills and telephone manner Comfortable working in customer-facing, site meeting environments Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and occasionally to the UK/Europe Availability for overnight stays and occasional out-of-hours work Full clean driving licence essential Safe Pass certification advantageous Benefits: Paid door-to-door salary plus overtime Fully expensed company van Laptop and mobile phone provided Pension scheme If this is of interest to you please send your updated CV to Jenny.
