In Ireland, we have been recognised as a Great Place to Work for 9 consecutive years, with 35 offices worldwide, we do business across 100+ countries on a daily basis.This role requires a maximum of 1 day a week in our Kilkenny office.As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:Coordinating payrolls in Ireland & UK with outsourced payroll provider.Coordinating payrolls in other jurisdictions and acting as point of contact for outsourced global payroll providers.Calculation and payment of employee net pay, pension, taxes, other deductions and gross-ups as required.Ensuring tax compliance with Revenue / HMRC for relevant payrolls and monitoring of all relevant monthly filings.Preparing monthly pension files for submission to pension companies for both Ireland & UK.Preparation of monthly consolidated payroll reports with support for Financial Controller and department heads.Continuously reviewing and improving existing payroll procedures.Providing guidance and support for all payroll-related queries.Own and respond to payroll queries from employees and internal/external business partners.Keep up to date with payroll-related regulatory changes that may impact the business.Ensure payroll is controlled tightly, adhering to GDPR and internal compliance procedures.Provide HR Admin support ensuring the highest levels of HR service delivery in relation to employee benefits, employee information and reporting data.Liaise with HR, Finance, Auditors, Social Welfare, Revenue / HRMC and other external partners and institutions as required.Assistance with preparation of annual audit / tax files – as required.Other ad hoc tasks and reports such as Gender Pay Gap and EU Pay Transparency reporting.Accounting ResponsibilitiesPreparation and analysis of monthly accounting entries and reconciliation to payroll registers.Preparation / review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Assistance with preparation of annual audit files.Other ad hoc month and year end accounting tasks as required.Skills/RequirementsMinimum 3 years payroll experience essential.IPASS qualification.Excellent numeracy skills & organisational skills.Excellent MS Excel skills are essential.Strong level of IT Skills – SAP exposure is an advantage.Organized and professional individual with ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to take ownership for your work and work independently, as well as part of a team.Will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.BenefitsHealthcare planCompetitive pensionFlex hours where you can work your 5 days across 4.5 daysFlexible Working Policy with a combination of remote and office workingLifework days: ½ day each quarter to get your life work done23 days annual leave + 2 CluneTech Holidays (Christmas Eve & Good Friday) plus additional days with length of servicePaid leaves including IVF / pregnancy assistance, pregnancy loss, marriage, maternity and paternity leaveEmployee-led CSR Programme with one paid Volunteer Day per yearDeath in Service BenefitMilestone Recognition ProgrammeCompassionate Leave up to 4 weeksCompassionate Leave for petsTravel benefitsProfessional & Personal DevelopmentRewards & RecognitionEmployee Wellbeing Programme24/7 Employee Assistance ProgrammeTransferMate is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees.
