About the Role
A leading global creative agency is seeking a
Digital Director
to shape and elevate its digital output across social, content, and performance channels. This is a pivotal leadership position within a progressive, creatively-driven environment, ideal for a digital-first strategist who thrives at the intersection of culture, media, and innovation.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional planner role. This position is for a creative leader who can set the strategic direction of digital campaigns, champion native platform creativity, and lead a high-performing team to develop strategies that bring ideas to life across the full ecosystem.
You will work closely with creatives, planners, and client teams to ensure strategies are insight-driven, audience-aware, and deeply contextual to today's digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Direction
* Lead development of digital-first strategies for major clients and pitches
* Ensure creative work is platform-native, context-aware, and culturally responsive
* Raise the standard for digital thinking across social, performance, and content
Team Leadership
* Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of digital specialists
* Set strategic priorities and promote best practices and innovation
* Foster deep collaboration across creative and planning functions
Cross-Disciplinary Integration
* Translate creative ambition into actionable, channel-informed strategies
* Act as a strategic bridge between idea, media, and measurement
* Contribute to the creative process from brief to execution
Performance & Growth
* Embed performance thinking and optimisation across team outputs
* Build strong client relationships and support new business efforts
* Drive digital capability building within the team and wider organisation
What You Bring
* 8+ years of experience in digital strategy, ideally in creative or integrated agencies
* Expertise in social, performance marketing, and content strategy
* Strong leadership and team-building abilities
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with creative, media, and client teams
* Platform fluency across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
* Bonus: Experience with connections planning, influencer strategy, or digital experience mapping
