Job Title:Network Project Engineer (Routing, Switching & Security)Role & What's in it for the applicant and why would they apply?:This is a project-led network engineering role for someone who enjoys designing and delivering real solutions rather than living in BAU support.You'll work on a variety of customer-facing network projects, covering routing, switching, wireless, and network security. The role sits firmly in the design and delivery space, making it ideal for an engineer coming from an MSP background who is comfortable owning outcomes and working across multiple customer environments.Based in Dublin, this role offers exposure to modern enterprise networks, a strong technical team, and the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality network transformations.Responsibilities:• Deliver network projects end to end, from design through to implementation and handover.• Produce High Level and Low Level Designs for customer network environments.• Implement and support routing, switching, wireless, and security solutions.• Work with customers onsite to deploy and migrate network infrastructure.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.• Provide technical input during project planning and pre-delivery phases.• Ensure documentation and handover meet operational standards.• Travel to customer sites as required (driving licence essential).Skills / Must Have:• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Project Engineer.• Background working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.• Strong routing and switching fundamentals.• Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or HPE Aruba technologies.• Experience delivering network security and wireless solutions.• Comfortable producing network design documentation (HLD/LLD).• Full driving licence.• Confident working directly with customers.Nice to Have:• Exposure to multi-vendor network environments.• Experience delivering projects across multiple customer sites.• Vendor certifications (Cisco, Aruba) — beneficial but not essential.Benefits:• Project-focused role with genuine technical ownership.• Exposure to a wide range of enterprise customer environments.• Supportive team culture with strong technical capability.• Opportunity to develop design and delivery skills further.Salary:• €50,000 – €60,000 per annum, depending on experience.Location & Working Pattern:• Dublin-based role.Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Information Services and Technology, Information and Media
