Based in any of our Dublin offices, Howden Ireland are delighted to have a vacancy as a Commercial Marketing Executive on a permanent basis for our Howden Ireland team that will be an integral part of our wider Marketing and Commercial teams.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work predominantly with our commercial insurance team to deliver all marketing plans and bid management requirements for the division.
The Commercial marketing executive will also support the business in other avenues such as campaign support, digital marketing, content & event creation/management, reporting and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Key marketing professional assigned to support the Commercial insurance team with new business pitches (Bid management & sales presentation creation), planning, creation and distribution of all commercial insurance sales & marketing materials.
* Own content creation for all B2B publications and B2B commercial marketing material as required; all bidding materials and corporate sales presentations using word, power point, video as required and customised for each tender.
* Manage all requests for communications and for the commercial team as required.
* Working with the marketing team and specifically Campaigns Manager to deliver content creation for Commercial campaigns and events including direct mail, print material, advertising, web, digital & social channels as required for the pillar.
* Support online activity including content creation, online content, website, blogging, video blogging, email marketing, working with marketing managers, as required.
* Review of the company social media pages ensuring they are up to date and relevant to reflect the services and promotion of the commercial division and insurance specialist profiles.
* Planning, creation and management of trade events.
* Identify opportunity for promotion on relevant industry portals and actively deliver ideation to stakeholders, assessing competitor activity.
* Evaluate marketing success by monitoring key marketing performance metrics and consistently analyse the effectiveness of all activity and reporting. With an analytical mindset, gather and manage data requirements as required.
* Build effective and professional working relationships cross functionally in Howden UK&I to support the commercial team to deliver what they need.
* Collaborate with UK counterparts across bid management teams and marketing teams as required
* Manage and deliver ad hoc marketing projects and tasks as required.
* Working with our inhouse Graphic Design team you will be required to create BAU marketing material/collateral & manage changes as required
* Collaborate in all marketing team projects and events to assist with marketing colleagues on project tasks as required.
* Working with the marketing team to deliver content for Commercial team events, direct mail, print material, advertising, web, digital & social channels as required for the division.
* Deliver ad hoc content as required for general marketing planned projects.
* Ensure brand guidelines and marketing team processes are met, and brand tone of voice is consistent across all communications and engagement platforms.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders, marketing peers and creative agencies and third parties working as required.
* Reporting to the Head of Marketing on delivery of all strategic planning, implementation and performance reporting of all marketing activity relating to this pillar or assigned general marketing projects.
* Carry out all activities in line with best practice GDPR and compliance.
About You:
* Relevant third level degree in Business or Marketing and/or professional marketing qualification.
* 3-5 years' experience working in a busy B2B Marketing environment.
* Excellent software usage skills particularly Power Point and Word, and experience of using creative design software mentioned above beneficial.
* Experience working with Marketing analytics, tools and applications would be an advantage.
* B2B Marketing experience with strong sales/business acumen.
* Creative, innovative, and collaborative but can manage workflow independently and work on one's own initiative.
* Use software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Canva or other relevant creative design software is beneficial.
* Team player with a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to work on own initiative with a can-do positive attitude, works to deadlines and work under pressure in a busy environment.
* Ability to react quickly and efficiently to changing priorities and varied requirements.
