About the Job
In the role you will:
* Understand in detail how process & plant equipment operates (examples include tablet & capsule manufacturing & packaging process equipment, chillers, boilers, HVAC, compressed air systems, nitrogen systems, waste water, lab gases, electrical distribution, back up generation, general office services).
* Develop predictive maintenance methodologies utilizing PEMAC Maintenance Management system.
* Develop and continuously improve preventative maintenance routines based on RCM methodologies.
* Develop and comply with relevant SOPs.
* Ensure spare parts requirements are available and cost effective for equipment.
* Develop spare parts lists for various equipment.
* Provide effective problem solving and reactive maintenance as required.
* Measure equipment performance in terms of downtime, yield if applicable, efficiency and cost of maintenance.
* Develop relationships with vendors and develop maintenance contracts.
* Ensure the preventative maintenance routines are executed on time and in a compliant manner.
* Comply at all times with the Health, Safety and Environmental policy and associated procedures.
* Continuously promote a positive safety culture by challenging yourself and others to prioritize safety in everything you do.
* Liaise with contractors managing inductions, work permits & RAMS
* Ensure all work carried out, is in compliance with the required standards, conforming to company, cGMP, cGLP, SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
* Take ownership for quality compliance in all activities you are responsible for.
About you
You possess a senior trade qualification, while a relevant third level qualification in an Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing discipline is an advantage. You have maintenance experience within a regulated environment (preferably within a Pharma manufacturing) and ideally experience in the use of a Maintenance Management System.
You will draw from your many skills such as planning, multi-tasking and time management. You have the ability to form positive relationships and enjoy collaborating, gaining knowledge, continuous improvement and solving problems.
