Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
1. Supervise the normal activities of the Youth Café daily.
2. Work as part of a team to develop events and activities for young people.
3. Engage in other programmes in Dundalk Youth Centre such as The Youth Diversity Project and the Healthy Ireland Initiative when available.
4. Participate in all Dundalk Youth Centre Team Meetings.
5. Support events in Dundalk Youth Centre when available.
6. Adhere to all Dundalk Youth Centre policies and procedures.
7. To participate in training for Safeguarding of Children and other job related training.
8. Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required.
9. Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to service users, ex-service users and general centre business.
