The Position
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, we wish to appoint an Associate to work in the Payroll Outsourcing Services department of Forvis Mazars. The successful candidate will work from our office 2/3 days per week providing payroll support our clients. Forvis Mazars has a large and established dedicated outsourced payroll bureau that provides payroll service solutions to its clients ranging from multinational companies to owner managed businesses and to public sector bodies. A full training programme will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
* Manage and process payroll data accurately and in line with strict reporting deadlines.
* Receive, review and input daily payroll information, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Issue payroll reports in a timely manner.
* Handle client queries promptly and professionally, providing clear guidance and support.
* Liaise with clients and the Revenue Commissioners to resolve issues, submit queries, and ensure compliance.
* Process Auto‑Enrolment (AE) requirements, including submitting all AE filings to the relevant authorities.
* Prepare and submit Revenue returns through the ROS online system.
* Monitor and record time spent on payroll processing in accordance with internal procedures.
* Support general administrative duties across the payroll function as required.
* Participate fully in a structured training programme, with ongoing support designed to develop technical and professional payroll skills.
Report directly to the Payroll Manager, contributing to the effective operation of the payroll division.
Ideal Candidate
* Successful candidate must be IPASS qualified or prepared to complete IPASS course as part of their training contract
* Knowledge of computerised payroll systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Effective organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous payroll experience an advantage but not a requirement
