Job Description Location: The Quay We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter (Part Time)to join our kitchen team at The Maritime Hotel.
This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the smooth running of our culinary operations, helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
About The Role Key Responsibilities Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, sanitary, and well-organized Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to high hygiene standards Properly handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling Support chefs with general kitchen tasks as required Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed Adhere strictly to health & safety and food hygiene guidelines at all times Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential Flexible, reliable, and committed to upholding cleanliness and hygiene A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks in a busy kitchen environment Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion The Maritime Hotel is anequal opportunity employer.
