Vice President - Business Growth & Partnerships - Data Centres
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to join and help grow our client's business unit by identifying and capitalising on new project opportunities in the data centre industry throughout Europe. In this role, you will lead the development of win strategies, shape tactical and long-term plans, and work closely with leadership to ensure offerings are competitive, compelling, and aligned with broader company goals.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example, consistently demonstrating the company’s core values.
* Foster an ethical, inclusive, and motivating work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
* Lead the formulation of winning strategies that balance technical solutions with competitive pricing and margin targets.
* Collaborate with business unit leadership to develop strategic market and client plans for short and long-term horizons, ensuring alignment with global directives.
* Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities across the region.
* Contribute to annual budgeting and tactical execution plans in coordination with regional and global leadership.
* Provide input to marketing and technical teams on sales strategies and market positioning.
* Represent the company at networking events, industry associations, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and identify new opportunities.
* Apply proposal management best practices to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality bid submissions.
* Develop impactful presentation materials and coordinate rehearsals to ensure effective delivery.
Requirements
* Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or relevant qualification.
* Proven experience in business development in the data centre industry.
* Strong background working with or for large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms.
* Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
