Team and Opportunity
EY is expanding its Microsoft Services and Cloud Group, specifically building our Technology Consulting practice. We are recruiting high-achieving Cloud Architects to support our NextWave Strategy. As a Cloud Architect, you will help clients adopt and utilise their Cloud platforms, develop Cloud Strategies, Operating Models and steer their Cloud Adoption Journey across major IT programs.

Your Key Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities
Help develop Cloud Strategies across data, application, infrastructure, integration, security and business architecture.
Accelerate cloud adoption with design and deployment of EY Enterprise Cloud Landing Zones.
Develop strategic technology cloud roadmaps and assist clients to deliver on them.
Serve as trusted advisor on cloud journey.
Define target cloud patterns aligned with enterprise systems implementation.
Create plans for legacy technology replacement, including cloud migration solutions and roadmaps.
Advise on DevOps toolsets, automated testing, continuous security and implementation capabilities.
Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.
Identify opportunities to better serve clients and assist with business development and proposals.
People Responsibilities
Develop people through supervising, coaching and mentoring junior staff.
Maintain a personal educational program for continual development.
Follow workplace policies and procedures.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Significant experience in one or more Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and related build, deployment, automation, networking, security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
Engage in presentations and proposals for complex projects.

Relevant industry certification.
Excellent presentation skills.
To Qualify for the Role
5–7 years of relevant experience in a similar role/environment.
Passion for Cloud Architecture and Engineering.
Experience designing, deploying and implementing large‑scale Cloud Strategies and migrations.
Advanced networking experience.
Excellent communication and confidence in explaining technical issues.
Knowledge of third‑party security products (Checkpoint, Fortigate, Cisco ASA) and native cloud security services (e.g., Azure WAF, AWS WAF).
Proficiency in Office 365 products (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams) is an advantage.
Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code languages (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, Python).
Deep understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML, Active Directory).
Technical leadership in project delivery, meeting deadlines and objectives.
Vendor certifications: Microsoft Stack, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud.
Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF).
Independent work and workload management.
Attention to detail.
Relevant industry certification.
Ideally, You Also Will Have
Hands‑on Agile experience (Scrum, SAFE, Kanban, Lean, TDD, CI/CD).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience with Agile collaboration tools from main vendors.
