Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of Indian cuisines, ensuring quality and authenticity.
* Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect contemporary trends while honoring traditional flavors.
* Manage inventory, purchasing of ingredients, and maintain optimal stock levels.
* Oversee kitchen operations including staffing, training, and scheduling of kitchen personnel.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the kitchen.
* Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal and promotional menus.
* Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Indian chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting.
* In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary techniques, spices, and cooking methods.
* Ability to create and innovate Indian dishes that cater to diverse palates.
* Strong leadership skills with the capacity to inspire and mentor junior kitchen staff.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the restaurant.
