Summary
Jabil is seeking a Lead Test Engineer who will directly contribute to the validation test solutions and processes in place for server hardware manufacturing facility.
Location: Dublin 15, Blanchardstown - on-site position

Leadership and Management Responsibilities
Communication: concise, clear communication both written and oral through all media – in person, in meetings, online, global. Take to lead in crisis situations and keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
Recruitment and Retention: support candidate screening, interviews, training, development, engagement as necessary to hire and retain the best.
Employee and Team Development: identify individual/team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis; create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility; coach and mentor Test Engineering staff to deliver excellence to internal and external customers.
Performance Management: define clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities); solicit ongoing feedback from Test Engineering Manager, Workcell Manager (WCM), Business Unit Director (BUD), peers and team members on individuals contribution to the Workcell team; provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Business Strategy and Direction: know and understand the campus strategic directions; define, develop and implement test engineering strategies to support the campus strategic directions; provide regular updates to Test Engineering Manager on the execution of the strategy.
Cost Management: identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, re-engineering of processes and systems); utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.
Technical Management Responsibilities
Lead technical problem solving for the team – and coach and mentor peers to do so effectively.
Drive LEAN initiatives within the team to reduce waste, and continuously realise incremental improvements.
Be the technical expert in Test Engineering – know the product/platform, lead the technical discussions and drive to development of the best solutions for the team, business and organisation.
Engage with operation/debug/TE/PE/GCTD/Customer to accelerate problem definition, containment, and lead the development and delivery of the best solution for the team/business/organisation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (Level 8+) from a recognised college or university and ten years relevant experience.
Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is advantageous.
