About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to lead the nursing team, ensure clinical excellence and compliance with HIQA standards. The CNM will support the Person in Charge (PIC) and create a warm, person‑centred environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership, clinical supervision and day‑to‑day guidance to nursing and care teams.
Support the PIC in the overall management and operation of the nursing home.
Promote and uphold a culture of person‑centred care, ensuring residents' dignity, choice and independence.
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, policies and best practice guidelines.
Support safeguarding practices and manage care concerns effectively.
Deliver holistic care addressing residents' physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Act as a clinical role model, supporting staff development and training.
Work flexibly to meet the service needs, including day, night, weekend and on‑call shifts.
What We're Looking For
Registered Nurse with An Bord Altranais and an active PIN.
Minimum 6 years post‑registration nursing experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a management capacity (desirable).
Passion for gerontology and dementia care.
Strong clinical competence and leadership skills.
Experience in a nursing home (desirable).
