Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Claims Resolution Specialist to handle motor claims in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and gather accurate information at first notification.
* Manage incoming communication to support timely and cost-effective claim resolution.
* Handle correspondence from all parties and prevent delays or unnecessary costs.
* Conduct thorough investigations and make early decisions on indemnity and liability.
* Negotiate fair settlements.
* Oversee a portfolio of claims through to closure.
* Elevate complex cases when required.
* Perform regular file and reserve reviews in line with service standards.
* Meet individual and team performance targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum two years' experience in motor claims handling.
* APA or grandfathered, ideally working toward CIP certification.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
* A deep understanding of underwriting principles, liability, CPC, and motor legislation.
* A methodical approach with good problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and remain focused under pressure.
* A positive and proactive team player.
