Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on two unique premium bakery brands: Promise Gluten Free (Global) and Gallaghers Bakehouse (Local Irish brand). The role involves executing brand strategies across core markets Ireland, UK, and Canada, with support for entry into the USA. Promise Gluten Free is a rapidly growing company with big ambitions. You will work closely with the CMO, Marketing Director, and local commercial leads to disrupt the bread category and capitalize on growth potential. This position is ideal for a hands-on marketer eager to work on high-profile brands and develop in consumer goods marketing.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Execute consumer activation plans for Promise Gluten Free across social media, PR, media, retailer packages, trade magazines, influencers, etc., identifying relevant channels and managing briefs.
2. Monitor and coordinate social media content with the global social media lead to ensure relevance and consistency across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
3. Keep the website updated with product, recipe, and news information; promote awareness of DTC platforms in North America.
4. Partner with groups and associations (e.g., Coeliac Associations) for sponsorship and joint initiatives to reach target audiences.
5. Support market-specific promotional plans, including in-store support, POS, signage, loyalty programs, and brochures.
6. Assist in shaping future product ranges, manage packaging and artwork in collaboration with the technical team.
7. Organize consumer expos and trade shows, leveraging content from presence at these events for social media.
8. Analyze market data and competitors’ strategies to identify success factors and opportunities for differentiation.
