OffalyAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a modern, high-performance manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all plant and production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards, while meeting operational and budgetary targets.Competitive salary plus benefits package on offer.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.Oversee and perform corrective and preventative maintenance across continuous production equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and rework machinery, tooling, and fixtures using a wide range of workshop and diagnostic equipment.Maintain critical plant utilities including compressed air, water systems, HVAC, plumbing, drainage, pressurised environments, and interlocking systems.Demonstrate strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability.Contribute to product and process improvement initiatives, including calculations and updates to technical drawings where required.Monitor equipment performance to proactively identify potential downtime risks and recurring design weaknesses.Conduct functional assessments on new or non-conforming components.Assist in planning and executing trials for new materials, components, and manufacturing processes.Ensure high standards of housekeeping, safe work practices, and adherence to health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.Perform calibration activities on process and production equipment.Provide regular updates and detailed reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics.Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to support operational objectives.Ensure team members receive appropriate training and development aligned with operational needs.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.Essential RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Electrical, or related discipline) or a recognised trade qualification (e.g., toolmaking, fitting, turning).Minimum 10 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, with a working knowledge of quality assurance processes.Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership capability.Proven problem-solving ability with strong technical judgement.Experience in team leadership and people management.
