Warehouse OperativeLocation: DublinCompany: DWG Refrigeration Wholesale LimitedPosition: Full-Time Warehouse OperativeHours: Core hours are 8am to 5pm, however, you will be expected to work flexibly between the hours of 6am and 6pm if necessaryDWG, a leading provider of products and services in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, is looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Dublin branch. If you have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a flexible attitude, we'd love to hear from youKey Responsibilities:Loading & Unloading: Operate forklift trucks (FLT) to load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all goods received match the corresponding paperwork.Goods Management: Book in received goods on the computer system, accurately file away paperwork, and maintain warehouse bin locations.Inventory Control: Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy, arrange courier deliveries for orders outside our delivery area, and take part in the company's annual stock take.Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse tidy and ensure that all items are correctly put away.Forklift Truck Checks: Perform daily FLT checks and report any defects to the supervisor.Customer Assistance: Assist customers at the trade counter, help load their vehicles, and cover for the Trade Counter Assistant as needed.Deliveries: Occasionally carry out deliveries to customers.Skills Required:Organisational Skills: Efficiently manage tasks and time.Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.Reliability: Be dependable and consistent in your performance.Flexibility: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing demands.Team Player: Work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.Qualifications:Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.A full driving licence is essential.Why DWG Limited?Competitive salarySupportive work environmentComprehensive trainingHolidays: 23 days plus all bank holidays, increasing by 1 day annually (up to 28 days).Benefits:o Company pensiono Employee Assistance Programmeo Bike to Work SchemeIf you're a proactive individual looking for a varied role in a dynamic company, apply now to join DWG's Dublin branch as a Warehouse Operative.DWG is an equal opportunity employer.
