R&D Partners is seeking a QA Validation Specialist to join a pharmaceutical company on a contract basis during an exciting phase of growth. This is a 12‑month, fully on‑site contract role. In this role, you will ensure that equipment, computerized systems, facilities, and utilities meet regulatory standards and remain in a qualified state. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain compliance and support ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
* Review and approve qualification protocols for equipment, systems, facilities, and utilities.
* Oversee and support qualification activities, including site inspections and vendor interactions.
* Approve related documents such as user requirements, procedures, and technical drawings.
* Provide expertise in validation processes, including computerized system validation and data integrity.
* Investigate and resolve qualification‑related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Approve calibration and maintenance activities linked to qualification processes.
* Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
* Promote continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to performance reporting.
* Assist in training team members and maintaining validation documentation systems.
Key Skills and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical QA validation role.
* Strong understanding of EU and FDA regulations related to equipment, facility, and computerized system qualification.
* Knowledge of Data Integrity, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and validation lifecycle principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability in protocol/report writing, problem solving, and cross‑functional collaboration.
* Eligible to work in Ireland.
