Infection prevention control is the responsibility of all Beechtree employeesEnsure that all floor surfaces are washed and buffed when residents are away from the area.All carpets are hovered as required to maintain cleanlinessEnsure that all bedrooms are cleaned and all waste bins emptied as required including sangenic bins and clinical waste bins.Toilets and wash hand basins to be cleaned on a daily basis.Ensure that toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers are refilled as required.Ensure work surfaces throughout the Nursing Home are polished as required.Maintain a clean, safe environmentClean up spills as requiredUse safety signage to indicate wet floorsDocument evidence of cleaning performedReport to Nurse any concerns regarding the ResidentsMaintain confidentiality of informationParticipate in in-service training & educationConsults withDirector of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Manager, Nursing Staff, Care Assistants, Catering, Ancillary & Maintenance StaffList of General DutiesTo ensure a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene is maintained throughout the Nursing Home.
