Maintenance Team Lead
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring that all equipment, utilities, and facilities are well-maintained.
Job Description
The Maintenance Team Lead will lead and manage a team of engineers and contractors, coordinating their activities to minimize downtime during maintenance access. You will schedule maintenance in advance, ensure vendor work, EHS checks, and POs are in place, and use a workload planner to balance tasks across the team. Additionally, you will prioritize and assign work to engineers and contractors to support production, manage Work Orders in eMaint, and ensure timely closure with correct documentation.
You will also be responsible for ensuring all equipment, utilities, and facilities are maintained on schedule and that the team has the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively. Your goal will be to maximize uptime and minimize downtime, while maintaining compliance with EU GMP regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
* Minimum 5 years' maintenance and people management experience in a GMP pharma/biotech setting
* Strong knowledge of EU GMP, particularly Annex 1 and Annex 15
* Proficient in CMMS, ideally eMaint
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Familiar with utilities and cleanroom systems (HVAC, purified water, steam, compressed gases)
