Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Driver to join their busy plant and powered access hire division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely delivery and collection of machinery and equipment across the Leinster region, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and punctuality. Key Responsibilities Safely load and secure vehicles and trailers, ensuring correct weight distribution at all times. Verify that all equipment matches customer orders and complies with vehicle weight restrictions. Follow delivery and collection schedules using the Syrinx system. Provide customers with basic equipment demonstrations and familiarization when required. Complete all deliveries and collections within agreed timeframes while treating customer property and premises with respect. Address any delivery-related issues calmly and professionally. Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report defects in accordance with company procedures. Monitor the vehicle's condition and complete defect reports as necessary to ensure ongoing safety and mechanical reliability. Experience & Qualifications A minimum of 3 years proven HGV driving experience, ideally within the plant or heavy equipment transport industry. Valid Category C license, CPC certification, and digital tachograph card. Strong skills in GPS navigation, route planning, and mapping software.
