* HVAC Maintenance: Carry out routine inspections, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive repairs on all HVAC plant, plantroom equipment, and associated control systems.
* Fault Finding & Diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve system faults efficiently using appropriate diagnostic tools to minimise downtime and maintain optimal system performance.
* System Optimisation & Improvements: Evaluate HVAC system performance and implement improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational effectiveness, including recommending upgrades or modifications where appropriate.
* Coordination & Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to plan and deliver maintenance activities effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations and timely completion of works.
* Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in strict accordance with safety legislation, site procedures, and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
* Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete maintenance records, inspection reports, repair logs, component replacement details, and recommendations for system improvements.Skills and Requirements * Time-served HVAC Technician, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, or Plumber/Pipefitter with proven HVAC experience.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* In-depth knowledge of a wide range of air conditioning systems, components, and associated control systems, with demonstrated experience in maintenance and repair.
* Proven ability to diagnose HVAC system faults and carry out preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications and industry best practice.
* Solid understanding of health and safety procedures and relevant regulations.
* Experience with modern HVAC technologies, smart controls, and energy-efficient systems is an advantage.
