The Practice Development Nurse plays a key role in supporting this commitment by providing dedicated leadership in quality, safety, and clinical practice development.The PD Nurse supports the Director of Nursing through oversight of audits, governance, learning, and compliance, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered and clearly evidenced at floor level, in line with HIQA requirements.
