Job Summary:
The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for undertaking specialist nutritional assessments and identifying the nutritional needs of individuals in a multidisciplinary team.
This role involves advising, implementing, and monitoring the nutritional care plans of patients using evidence-based practice as a therapeutic dietitian.
Key responsibilities include working with other team members to coordinate and develop services to meet patient needs and organisational objectives.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality dietetics service by carrying out clinical and educational duties and developing, managing, and evaluating the dietetics service.
They will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of dietetic care pathways, referral processes, protocols, and resources.
Requirements:
* A strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Registration or eligibility for registration as a Dietitian by CORU and maintenance of said registration annually
