The OpportunityDue to recent internal restructuring, we are currently seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service and maintenance division. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our equipment, directly impacting the quality of service we deliver to clients. The role will involve liaison with all internal departments, external contractors and our clients base. While primarily based at our depot, occasional site visits may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support (mechanical/electrical) to clients and internal teamsOversee maintenance schedules to ensure minimal equipment downtimeManage and lead the Service Team (both field and yard-based)Manage departmental budgets and control costsUphold health and safety standards, including compliance and reportingLiaise with internal departments, external contractors, and clientsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in people and team managementRecognised qualification or experience in engineeringStrong mechanical and electrical technical skillsProject management experiencePrevious experience with construction plant or similar equipment (advantageous)Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsProficient in computer useA proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetFull, clean driving licenceAbout UsMantis Cranes are a leading provider of tower crane solutions, known for our commitment to safety, innovation, and client satisfaction.
