Mason Technology is seeking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a full-time permanent contract.

The Role:
As a Quality Engineer, reporting to the Quality Manager, you will assist with maintaining the quality function within the Company and partner closely with all Departments to develop and continually improve the Quality Management Systems. You will also build strategic partnerships with current and future Certification and Accreditation bodies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure that the requirements of ISO 17025 (INAB), ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are achieved.
* Control of Test and Measurement equipment and associated systems including calibration/ technical drift monitoring.
* Database Management and Processing/ Administration of Certificates.
* Provide Technical Support internally and to customers.
* Complete Internal Audits as part of an Audit Team, assisting the Quality Manager with audit scheduling and performance.
* In conjunction with the other members of the Quality/Validation Team, assist with all External Audits by Certification bodies, Accreditation bodies and Customers.
* Maintain all Quality Control documentation and amendments according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
* Working closely with Quality, Validation, Sales, Service Teams, Technical Support Engineers/ Subject Matter Experts and Suppliers (Equipment Manufacturers).
* Monitor Customer Feedback and Customer Satisfaction.
* Monitor Vendor Issues and Vendor Satisfaction.
* Conducting Vendor Assessments through on-site supplier visits.
* Support Health and Safety Team and Subject Matter Experts to generate Method Statement/Risk Assessment Documentation.
* Supporting the investigating of Corrective Actions, Customer Complaints and working with departments and customers to identify solutions.
* Be pro-actively involved with future development in all Departments.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
* Prior knowledge/experience with both ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Quality Standards a distinct advantage.
* Preferably a Quality Assurance/ Technical/ Scientific/ Engineering background.
* Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
* 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Science, Engineering or Food industries an advantage.
