What we're looking for:
Arra Veterinary Clinic is looking for a caring and motivated Pet Groomer & Animal Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
This is a dual role, offering the opportunity to provide professional grooming services while also supporting the day-to-day care of our patients.
Responsibilities include:
Grooming dogs and cats (washing, drying, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning, coat maintenance)
Handling pets with patience and compassion to ensure a stress-free experience
Assisting vets and nurses with patient handling during consultations and treatments
Feeding, exercising, and monitoring in-patients
Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for animals and clients
Supporting client care at reception when required
What we are looking for:
Experience in pet grooming (qualification an advantage but not essential)
Previous experience in animal care or within a veterinary setting is desirable
Compassionate, confident in handling animals, and a strong team player
Organised, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
