I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading smart-building technologies provider expanding rapidly across Ireland. We're looking for ambitious BMS Engineers with experience in service, commissioning, or both - and there's a genuine pathway toward senior leadership and future Country Management for the right person.
About the Role (Merged Overview)
As a BMS Engineer, you'll play a key role across the full lifecycle of building management systems - from maintaining live systems to commissioning new ones.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Servicing & maintaining existing BMS systems
Diagnosing, troubleshooting & correcting faults
Identifying upgrades, optimisation opportunities & system improvements
Delivering new-build BMS projects from start to finish
Full commissioning, testing & validation
Creating, modifying & optimising BMS strategies
Developing or updating front-end graphics
Demonstrating completed systems to clients & managing smooth handovers
Programming BMS systems from concept through completion
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, technical problem-solving, and building long-term client partnerships.
What We're Looking For
Engineering Degree / HND / ONC (electrical bias preferred)
2+ years' experience with Trend or another BMS system
Strong control panel knowledge (design, manufacture, testing)
Understanding of instrumentation & 3rd-party integrations
Full clean driving licence
Great communicator - positive, sociable & proactive
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organisation & project ownership skills
