Overview
We are working with a leading Irish law firm who are looking for an Associate Solicitor to join their Public Procurement team within their Dublin office.
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Procurement team, advising public bodies and utilities on the procurement of large projects, including tech and infrastructure projects. The candidate will also support the team in advising clients on the initiation or defence of procurement proceedings within Irish courts, as well as drafting procurement documents, advising on procurement issues, and compliance.
Through this role, the candidate will develop a strong understanding of complex regulatory frameworks and economic concepts across a range of sectors, with further opportunities to gain experience in competition law and commercial contracts. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Qualifications
1-4 PQE;
Strong background in public procurement law within a medium to large commercial firm;
Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
Outstanding academics;
Technically excellent;
Willingness to become involved in business development;
Ability to work independently and as a team.
