Key Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Electrical Projects Technician to join our team at Breedon Cement Kinnegad. The job holder will report to the electrical line manager for all project and department goals and objectives. They will be encouraged to bring forth new ideas to improve operational efficiencies and safety levels, with adequate time and resources to execute those ideas. Responsibilities include:
* Preventive maintenance programs
* Engaging with clients & subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
* Drafting electrical drawings
* Scoping project resources before execution
* Inspecting equipment to ensure H&S requirements are met
* Commissioning electrical projects
Working Conditions
* Occasional physical exertion, exposure to elements or hazards
* Ability to work with diverse cultures and network across industry
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Over 2 years electrical maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment (preferably heavy engineering)
* Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance
* Knowledge of containment and electrical installations
* Experience with motor control circuits, HV motors & switchgear
* Calibration of pressure, temperature, level & analytical equipment
* Experience with weighing instrumentation & calibration
