Trading Manager Our client, a leading retailer in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Trading Manager to join their Commercial Trading team during a period of strong growth.
This role will suit a commercially minded, hands-on Trading professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to drive category performance.

Benefits Competitive salary Bonus Healthcare Pension Hybrid working Free Parking Free Lunch Responsibilities of this Trading Manager role include: Taking ownership of category performance, including sales, margin, budget delivery, and stockholding.
Building and delivering range plans across core and seasonal product lines.
Managing pricing strategy and tracking competitor activity to keep the offer competitive.
Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across the business.
Leading commercial negotiations, including Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA).
Identifying and delivering opportunities for additional/ancillary income streams.
Bringing forward new product ideas and innovations, supporting them through to successful rollout.
Staying close to market and consumer trends through insight, competitor reviews, and industry awareness.
Driving improvements in ways of working, implementing change to increase efficiency and performance.
Producing clear category updates and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
Working closely with Supply Chain to support product availability and continuity of supply.
Experience required for this Trading Manager role include: Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Buying/Trading management role, with strong negotiation capability.
Strong background in FMCG convenience retail (essential).
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI and SAP experience highly desirable.
Commercially astute with the ability to analyse performance data and turn insight into action.
Excellent organisational skills with strong project management capability.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
