Sheet metal installer
Responsibilities
Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
Fit and join sheet metal parts.
Qualifications
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Skills: Attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination, judgement, teamwork.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Physically demanding; bending, crouching and kneeling required.
Equipment & Tools
Steel‑toed safety boots.
Safety glasses or goggles.
Personal Suitability
Judgement.
Team player.
Employment Terms
Permanent full‑time employment.
40 hours per week.
Hourly rate: $37.00.
Work shifts: early morning, morning, day, weekend, shift; overtime available.
Location
5189 157 Street, Surrey, BC V3Z 1G2. Work location: on site.
