About Your New Role:

* As a Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs and commercial value for the project (or project elements) within your area of responsibility.

* You will be skilled at budgeting, reporting, and profit planning.
">
* Good communication skills are essential. You will undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with the Client and Internal Project Team.
">
* Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed and payments are made per the agreed subcontract and procurement terms.
">
* The Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor will have the ability to administer contract obligations and meet client requirements.
">
* Issue interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements.
">
* Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly to Senior Management.
">
* Familiarity with scheduling and its associated commercial implications is beneficial.

What We Are Looking For:
">
">
* A 3rd level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or Quantity Surveying is essential.
">
* A minimum of 3 years of Quantity surveying/Mechanical & Electrical Engineering experience is also required.
">
* Proficiency in Excel is necessary.

* Detailed knowledge of commercial management and the Quantity Surveyor role within construction is expected.
