What You'll Do
Build & Own: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using C# .NET Core (back end) and React.js (front end).
Database Expertise: Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring scalable, performant, and secure data storage.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications using Azure services and Docker containers in a resilient environment.
DevOps & CI/CD: Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments.
Testing & Quality: Champion unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to maintain high-quality, maintainable code.
Security First: Embed security best practices across the development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Vision & Leadership: Work closely with the CTO and stakeholders to influence product direction, bringing fresh ideas and strategic insights.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide junior engineers, drive engineering best practices, and foster a culture of clean code, code reviews, and scalable design patterns.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement architectural and process optimisations, contributing to an innovative and learning-driven culture.
AI-Friendly: Utilise AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, GPT, Cursor, etc.) to simplify everyday coding tasks, improve productivity, and redirect time spent on boilerplate code to solving the interesting problems.
What we're looking for
Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles and patterns like CQRS.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, etc.).
Background in cybersecurity or familiarity with security frameworks.
Prior experience in a startup or scaling SaaS applications.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions with incomplete data, and iterating quickly.
You've experimented with or regularly use AI tools (Copilot, GPT, Cursor, etc.) to make your development work quicker, easier, and more enjoyable.
