About the Role:

We are seeking a HR Business Partner for a maternity cover contract to provide both strategic and operational HR support across key business areas. This role is critical to enabling effective people interventions that align with organisational strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to support talent, organisational design, and change initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

* Talent Management: Drive consistency in attracting, managing, developing, and retaining talent to meet current and future organisational needs.
* Organisational Design: Partner with business leaders to facilitate the creation of sustainable operating models, structures, systems, and processes aligned to business strategy.
* Change Management & ER Projects: Utilise experience in employee relations and change projects to anticipate organisational needs, diagnose issues, and build the case for change.
* Transformational Support: Support transformational activity through a strong change management approach, ensuring alignment with company values and cultural principles.
* Leadership Coaching: Coach and build the capability of managers to role model organisational values and leadership behaviours.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Manage key relationships across the business to ensure HR strategies are aligned with functional and organisational goals.
* Project Involvement: Participate in relevant HR projects, leading and championing initiatives that support the organisations reputation as an employer of choice.
* Collaboration: Share best practices and collaborate with internal Centres of Expertise to enhance the employee experience.


Required Experience and Skills:

* CIPD qualified with relevant business experience.
* Proven experience delivering proactive and commercial HR services in a fast‑paced, progressive environment.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.
* Sound understanding of people policies, procedures, and current best practices in employment.
* Strong project management skills.
* Effective facilitation and consulting skills, with the ability to manage complex people issues and competing demands.
* Commercially focused, credible, and able to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role within a commercial setting.
* Passionate about working in a dynamic environment and being solutions‑oriented.
* Experience with Workday or similar HR systems is preferred.
