Audit and Accounting Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior/Practice Accountant to join our team.
This role offers a variety of challenging projects across audit, accounts preparation, tax compliance, and ad-hoc assignments with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage client relationships, establish key contacts, resolve queries, identify opportunities for additional services, and advise on solutions.
* Assist with training junior staff, reviewing their work, and ensuring projects are tracking to budget.
* Contribute to the planning of audits and accounting assignments.
* Prepare draft accounts/reports and completion memos, including identification of control weaknesses or areas for improvement, for review by managers.
* Tax compliance services.
Essential Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant with experience in small to medium Irish practices.
* Broad experience across audit engagements, accounts preparation, financial statement preparation.
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS101/102.
* People management experience and passion for developing junior staff preferred.
* Exceptional communication skills, ability to empathize with and build strong client relationships.
