Reservations Manager- Luxury Wedding and Event Venue



Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations office
* Train, develop and supervise reservations staff
* Manage Reservation bookings for all rooms including reservations, amendments, cancellations and general enquires
* Ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales and occupancy
* Ensure all correspondence is managed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
* Work closely with the Wedding Events Team and Housekeeping to ensure all guests requests are met and communicated to all departments
* Oversee and ensure the smooth and accurate flow of information within the department and throughout other departments at all times
* Deal with customer complaints in line with company policy


Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor within a 4/5* property
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Working knowledge of a Property Management System (Hotsoft) would be desirable though not essential
* Excellent customer care and communication skills
* Good team leader and ability to lead and motivate the Reservations team
* Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
* Must have excellent written & spoken English
* Full driving license and transport is essential due to the rural location of the venue

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to join our team at one of Ireland's premier wedding and events venues. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Reservations office, training and developing reservations staff, and ensuring that all bookings are managed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor within a 4 or 5-star property, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent customer care and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team.
