NGS Mechanical Services Ltd are a mechanical and electrical services contractor based in Dublin. We are currently engaged in several high-profile commercial contracts.
We are now recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician Engineer to join our team.
Responsible For: Both preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of electrical systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Carrying out both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance tasks.
· To carry out small to medium size electrical repairs and installations
· To carry out routine check on all electrical systems i.e. Emergency Lighting and Distribution board checks
· Ability to plan and carry out works to achieve an efficient & speedy resolution to reactive maintenance issues that arise
· Carry out electrical testing and record results
· Ability to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of technical issues, using problem-solving techniques, in an effective and timely manner
· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple jobs.
· Ensuring detailed electronic service work reports are submitted for all works completed.
· Assisting with all queries regarding quotations and purchasing.
· Always ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.

Essential Criteria
· Fetac Level 6 Craft Electrical Certificate.
· City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Inspection and Testing / Installation
· 5 years post qualified experience.
· Previous experience working in a maintenance role.
· Clean Driving Licence
Desirable Criteria
· Previous experience working in a maintenance role.
· Team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
· Proficient in MS Packages in particular MS Word and Excel and Outlook/Project, AutoCAD.
· Must have a 'can do' attitude.
· Excellent communication, verbal and written.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Circumstances:
Overtime may be required to cover out of hours work. The company will provide transport for the role.
Salary will be commensurate with experience along with good opportunities for career progression.
