Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist
Location: Limerick
Service: Primary Care Centre
Salary: Competitive, in line with HSE pay scales
Working Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 months
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join their team at a Primary Care Centre in Limerick. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services in a community-based setting, supporting clients to achieve their optimal level of health and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions for a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic condition management.
2. Develop individualized care plans and implement evidence-based treatment programs.
3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.
4. Support health promotion initiatives and community-based rehabilitation programs.
5. Mentor and supervise junior staff and students as required.
6. Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in service development activities.
Essential Requirements:
1. Degree in Physiotherapy and CORU registration.
2. A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, with expertise in managing a broad range of adult conditions.
3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills.
Desirable Requirements:
1. Experience in a primary care or community setting.
2. Advanced training in areas such as musculoskeletal or neurological rehabilitation.
3. A keen interest in health promotion and preventative care.
