Location: Limerick, Ireland
Travel: Yes (regional and occasional international)
Reports to: Director of Developer Relations
We’re seeking an Events & Community Organizer (IC) who will activate and amplify our developer & partner ecosystem through high impact events and community programmes—online and in person.
This role plays a central part in ADI’s ongoing pivot to a developer first narrative, turning visibility and engagement into measurable outcomes for our business and ecosystem.
Role Summary
As an individual contributor, you will lead programme execution for the pillars of Engaging Events and Collaborative Community, building brand credibility, accelerating adoption, and nurturing a vibrant two‑way developer community across ADI’s platforms and partner ecosystems. You will coordinate with cross functional stakeholders, manage vendors and partners, and own programme outcomes.
Core Responsibilities

ADI‑Owned Event Leadership: Create, plan, launch, market, and deliver high‑impact developer and partner events conceived by ADI—owning the full lifecycle from ideation and goals, audience targeting, programming and speaker sourcing, venue/virtual production, promotional campaigns, demos/workshops through to day‑of operations, staff enablement, post‑event content & nurture, ROI measurement, and iterative improvements for scale.
Event Execution: Plan and run ADI’s presence at high impact third‑party events—hackathons, meetups, industry conferences and partner events —from selection and budgeting to programming, speaker support, booth operations, staff enablement, and post event follow‑through.
Internal Event Collaboration: Maximising the exposures for our developer & partner led initiatives internally through ADI own in‑house technical conferences and working with our established events team.
Hybrid Community Engagement: Drive active participation across digital forums (developer.analog.com, ez.analog.com, GitHub) and physical venues to foster an inclusive, trusted developer community.
Open Source Stewardship: Manage ADI’s commitments with opensource collectives (e.g., Linux Foundation, Zephyr Project), maximising participation, and translating involvement into developer success.
Strategic Pillar Implementation: Serve as the execution lead for Engaging Events and Collaborative Community pillars—operationalising playbooks, calendars, and event kits for consistent, scalable delivery.
Ecosystem ROI Management: Turn passive memberships and partnerships into active contributions and demand generation—define goals, track value, and optimise investments across third‑party ecosystems.
Scalable Bridge: Act as the bridge between ADI and external developer and partner communities, connecting event insights to ADI’s content, tools, and product teams to reduce friction and accelerate time to value.

Additional IC Deliverables

Content & Advocacy Support: Coordinate with Developer Relations, Product, Partners and Marketing to source speakers, abstracts, demos, tutorials, and learning assets aligned to event themes and community needs.
Post Event Activation: Own post event nurture motions—recaps, recordings, follow‑up tutorials, community threads, and campaigns—to drive return visits and deeper engagement with the ADI Developer Portal.
Measurement & Reporting: Build dashboards for event and community health, track KPIs, and make data‑driven adjustments to programmes and messaging.
Vendor/Partner Coordination: Manage timelines, statements of work, and deliverables with external partners, venues, and OSS organisations.

Outcomes & KPIs

Growth in developer community engagement (registrations, active participants, discussion threads, returning users).
Event ROI (qualified leads, portal signups, repo activity, content consumption, talk ratings, booth interactions).
Increased earned speaking placements and partnership wins with ecosystem leaders.

Role & Responsibility (ADI Standard)

Operate event & community programmes in embedded or adjacent markets, demonstrating a track record of community growth and event success.
Collaborate broadly—lead by influence across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Regional teams to orchestrate developer‑centric programmes at scale.
Shape early‑stage programme expansion, leveraging ADI’s platforms and reach to build credible, high‑visibility experiences both digital and physical.
Bridge technical and marketing: demonstrate embedded market fluency, curiosity about developer & partner communities, and comfort with measuring impact—adjusting strategy and messaging based on data.
Be capable across DevRel facets:

On‑the‑ground programmes (meetups, hackathons, speaker bureau) that build community and affiliation.
Marketing programmes & metrics to drive awareness and measure engagement.
Cross‑market communications with embedded and vertical leaders.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills; strong analytical problem‑solving; competitive drive; initiative; relationship building; and cross‑functional collaboration.
Maintain a relentless focus on moving developers from unboxing to “hello world” fast—through event‑driven enablement and community content.
Create excitement and garner internal support for developer & partner programmes.

Experienced events & community background, with a focus on driving scalable programmes and measurable results in developer, partner or related domains.
