We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities:

* Perform regular maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend its lifespan.
">
* Conduct planned maintenance routines to ensure smooth plant operations and meet production targets.
">
* Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
">
* Carry out electro-mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems, handling and packaging equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic components, and control systems.
">
* Provide maintenance support to the Production Team to help achieve targets.
">
* Minimize costs and optimize resource usage by implementing effective maintenance strategies.
">
* Collaborate with equipment suppliers for new installations, modifications and upgrades.
">
* Maintain workshops and tools in an organized and functional state.
">
* Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required to support evolving business needs.
">
">
Requirements
">
">
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems in an industrial setting.
">
* Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, including troubleshooting and basic programming.
">
* Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics and automation systems.
">
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
">
* Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
">
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
">
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
">
* Experience working with high-speed production lines, conveyors, packaging equipment or automated systems.
">

Qualifications/Certificates
">
">
* Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent field).
">
* Apprenticeship certification in mechanical or electrical trades is an advantage.
">
* PLC programming and troubleshooting certification (preferred but not mandatory).
">
* Health & Safety certification (such as Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety etc.).
