The role of a Manufacturing Engineer 2 encompasses diverse responsibilities, including process improvement and production support.
Key Responsibilities
* Leads projects to introduce new products or enhance existing ones.
* Collaborates with the machine shop to develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for improved manufacturing efficiency.
* Ensures maintenance and calibration requirements are met for manufacturing equipment, adhering to quality standards.
* Reviews and approves change orders and quality documentation requiring engineering sign-off.
* Develops work contents for manufacturing flow lines through time studies, waste reduction, and standard work generation.
* Creates project deliverables such as BOMs and production documentation (including IQC and work instruction creation).
* Plans and executes improvement projects to meet project timelines, quality, and cost targets.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and/or relevant experience.
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience required.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, effective communication at all levels.
